Free agent Dusan Vlahovic has made his way back to Turin from Istanbul. He chose not to comment on discussions with Besiktas, as Juventus remains hopeful that he will agree to a new contract with the club.
As of today, the Serbian international is officially without a club, his contract with Juventus having concluded at midnight.
Vlahovic had anticipated receiving numerous offers for his services. However, it appears that the only concrete proposal on the table currently comes from the Turkish club Besiktas.
Vlahovic Unconvinced by Besiktas Offer
In recent days, Vlahovic was in Istanbul engaging in negotiations, including with their new coach Vincenzo Italiano. It does not seem, however, that an agreement was reached.
Reporters from Sportitalia captured his return to Turin this evening and attempted to question him about Besiktas or if he had any message for the Juventus supporters.
The striker offered a smile to the cameras but provided no official statements.
Juventus has extended a new contract offer to Vlahovic, though the proposed salary is lower than his previous €12 million per season deal.
