Besiktas in Talks for Laurienté, Sassuolo Seeks €30m

Turkish club Besiktas is currently engaged in discussions with Sassuolo regarding a potential transfer for forward Armand Laurienté. Reports indicate that Laurienté is eager to join the Istanbul-based team. However, Sassuolo has set a valuation of €30 million for the player.

According to multiple Turkish football sources, including Sports Digitale and Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Laurienté is actively pushing for a move to Besiktas under the management of Vincenzo Italiano.

Laurienté Expresses Desire for Besiktas Transfer

Sassuolo appears open to selling Laurienté during the upcoming transfer window, having seen the player linked with several clubs in recent years, including a near-move to Sunderland in 2025.

Despite Sassuolo’s willingness to negotiate, their asking price remains firm at €30 million, a figure Besiktas must meet to secure the 27-year-old attacker.

Laurienté initially joined Sassuolo from Lorient in the summer of 2022 for an initial fee of €10.1 million, plus potential add-ons which included a 20% share of any future transfer profit.

Although he recently signed an extended contract with Sassuolo, running until June 2029, an exit this summer has been anticipated.

Laurienté is a versatile forward, predominantly playing on the left wing but capable of operating on the right flank or as a central striker.

Throughout his Serie A career, the French forward has accumulated 19 goals and 21 assists in 103 appearances.
