Italian club Fiorentina is reportedly in negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the transfer of Spanish left-back Hugo Bueno. According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the clubs are currently discussing a deal for the 23-year-old player.
Bueno, who has been a part of the Wolves academy since 2019 and spent time on loan at Feyenoord during the 2024-25 season, has made a significant impact this season. He has featured in 38 competitive matches for Wolves, contributing one goal and two assists to the team’s efforts.
This pursuit of Bueno would not be Fiorentina’s first foray into the Premier League for reinforcements. The club has previously signed players like Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur and Jack Harrison from Leeds United.
Bueno could be brought in to fill the void at left-back left by Fabiano Parisi, who is expected to be sidelined for an extended period due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear. While Fiorentina has other options for the position, including Robin Gosens, Niccolò Fortini, and Luis Balbo, Bueno’s performances at Wolves appear to have caught their attention.
