Glynlea Country Club: A New Era of Golf and Lifestyle

July 8, 2026Diego Herrera4 мин

Glynlea Country Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is embracing a new identity, centered around its inspired golf course designed by PGA Tour star Jim Furyk. This development by GreenPointe Holdings is designed to be playable and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels, avoiding overly penalizing features and allowing for recovery from less-than-perfect shots.

The golf course, measuring 6,630 yards (par 72) from the longest tees, features hybrid tees to accommodate various abilities. General Manager JT Symons highlights that Glynlea offers a straightforward test of golf, where players aren't excessively punished for errant shots and have opportunities to strategize and recover.

Complementing the golf experience, Glynlea is also introducing new residential options. Dream Finders Homes has unveiled its Ravenna II model, showcasing modern designs with a blend of clean architecture and natural materials. These spacious homes, with flexible layouts, offer extensive living space and options for buyers. Dream Finders Homes also offers its Designer Series collection, with many homesites overlooking the signature golf course, with plans starting in the $500s.

GreenPointe Holdings emphasizes that Glynlea offers a comprehensive lifestyle experience. In addition to Dream Finders Homes, Lennar and Perry Homes are also building in the community, with prices ranging from the $400s to over $1 million. Six furnished model homes are available for viewing daily.

The course's design, with its wide fairways and generous greens, caters to a range of golfing styles and skill levels. Players can opt for different approaches, from aggressive shots to more conservative bump-and-run tactics, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding game. The community's intelligent design prioritizes a separation between residents and golfers, creating distinct experiences within the development.

Glynlea Country Club Shines with a Powerful New Era of Inspired Golf & Lifestyle Living

Most successful companies share common traits, but a crucial one is "Own Who You Are."

This principle is evident at Glynlea Country Club in Port St. Lucie, FL, the core of GreenPointe Holdings' Wylder master-planned golf community. Glynlea features the first design by PGA Tour star Jim Furyk. Not only is it a well-crafted course, but Furyk, a two-time Ryder Cup Captain (2018, 2027), has made it playable for members, guests, and the public. Glynlea offers a solid test of golf – 6,630 yards (par 72) from the tips with three sets of hybrid tees – without being overly complex or pretentious.

"Golf courses have always been built for championship-level play, where every aspect is penalizing," said JT Symons, general manager at Glynlea CC, managed by Hampton Golf. "Every great player hits it down the middle and then straight at the pin.

"At Glynlea, you're not overly penalized. There are no quirky holes. If you hit a bad shot, you have a chance to recover. It's all laid out right in front of you."

Glynlea recently unveiled its new Ravenna II homes, each featuring a modern elevation and a sophisticated blend of clean architecture with layered textures and organic materials.

Additionally, Dream Finders Homes is offering its exclusive Designer Series collection of floor plans at Glynlea, with many homesites overlooking Furyk’s inaugural signature course. Buyers can choose from four one- and two-story floor plans ranging from approximately 1,900 to over 3,000 square feet. Dream Finders Homes' plans start in the $500s.

"The opening of the Ravenna II model home is an exciting addition to Glynlea Country Club," said Austin Burr, regional president, South Florida Region, GreenPointe Holdings. "With each new milestone, the vision for the community becomes more tangible, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to experience firsthand the homes, golf, and lifestyle that define Glynlea."

Glynlea Country Club, Burr added, offers homebuyers a variety of opportunities to experience a new generation of country club living, with new homes by Dream Finders Homes, Lennar, and Perry Homes priced from the $400s to over $1 million. Six furnished model homes are open daily.

Just as there are different home models to suit various tastes, the golf course, with its wide fairways and large greens, lends itself to players of different abilities and skill sets.

"You could be the player who takes out a lob wedge and flops the ball because tight lies don't bother you," Symons said. "Or you could take a 6-iron and hit a bump and run. You're able to recover and still be challenged.

"We've created an experience where residents have their experiences and golfers have their experiences. The property's intelligent design from a developer's and a course designer's standpoint allows for a separation of golfer and resident. Being so properly designed with each in mind is why this is such a great opportunity."
