Gleison Bremer’s Juventus Future Uncertain Amidst Liverpool and Man United Interest

Gleison Bremer might have played his final match for Juventus. Italian media report that Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester United are considering activating the Brazilian defender’s release clause. This speculation follows Bremer’s fifth yellow card of the 2025-26 season during Juventus’s recent 2-0 loss to Fiorentina. As a result, he will miss the upcoming Derby della Mole against Torino, marking the end of his season.

Several Italian outlets, including La Gazzetta dello Sport and TMW, are questioning whether the Fiorentina match was Bremer’s last for Juventus. The Brazilian has been a standout player in Juventus’s defense and continues to attract significant interest from the Premier League.

Bremer’s contract reportedly includes a release clause of €58 million, which can be activated during the first ten days of August, according to TMW. Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are said to be leading the race for his signature.

Bremer has spent eight seasons in Turin, initially joining Torino before the 2018-19 season. He then transferred to Juventus for a fee of €41 million plus add-ons ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. He has since made 121 appearances for Juventus across all competitions, scoring 12 goals, with 11 of those coming in Serie A.
