Kosovar winger Edon Zhegrova scored his first goal for Juventus on Sunday evening. This marks his first goal in any match since November 2024, when he played for Lille.
Zhegrova entered the game around the hour mark. Shortly after, Sassuolo took the lead through Sebastiano Esposito. Zhegrova showed clear intent, making effective runs and nearly setting up German forward Nick Woltemade.
His persistence paid off with less than ten minutes remaining. Sassuolo goalkeeper Arijanet Muric mishandled a cross, allowing Zhegrova to fire the ball into the bottom left corner.
The winger then scored again, leveling the score after Kieron Bowie had seemingly won the game for the hosts. Sassuolo ultimately secured the victory in a dramatic finish.
