World Cup 2026: Brazil vs Morocco Lineups – El Aynaoui Starts for Visitors, Ancelotti’s Serie A Links Noted

Brazil, one of the tournament favorites, is set to kick off their World Cup 2026 campaign against the reigning AFCON champions, Morocco. Coach Carlo Ancelotti, one of the few Italians participating in this year’s competition, aims for a strong start.

While no players currently playing in Serie A are in Brazil’s starting eleven for this match, former Roma defender Ibañez will feature at right-back. Additionally, ex-Juventus full-backs Alex Sandro and Danilo are on the bench. Goalkeeper Alisson, who recently opted to stay at Liverpool over a potential move to Juventus, is in goal. Juventus defender Bremer is also among the substitutes for Ancelotti.

On the Moroccan side, Roma’s Neil El Aynaoui is set to start in midfield. Brahim Diaz, linked with Inter and Juventus, will play on the right wing. The North African nation will be captained by former Inter Milan right-back Hakimi.
