Italian media reports suggest that Frederic Massara, Roma’s sporting director, is also anticipated to leave the club in the wake of Claudio Ranieri’s expected exit. This development is seen as a significant boost to the prospects of Francesco Totti returning to the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma is currently undergoing a substantial management reshuffling. Senior Advisor Claudio Ranieri is widely expected to depart following a public disagreement with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma is set to confirm Ranieri’s departure on Friday, either through an official statement or a press conference.
Massara’s exit is likely to follow Ranieri’s, as the Roma sporting director is reportedly also experiencing strained relations with coach Gasperini. The coach had previously voiced concerns regarding injury management and transfer strategies, and recent discussions with the club’s ownership have reportedly led to his views taking precedence over those of the club directors.

Gazzetta dello Sport further suggests that the departures of Massara and Ranieri would create a favorable environment for Totti’s potential return to the club.
The legendary Roma figure had a dinner meeting with Gasperini in March, and the coach has publicly stated his willingness to work with the former striker at the Stadio Olimpico.
