Italy’s own Riccardo Calafiori was a standout figure during Arsenal’s Premier League title parade, taking charge of the chants from the open-top bus as the club celebrated their first league victory in 22 years.
Although the Gunners had aimed for a Double, they sought to move past the disappointment of their Champions League Final loss to Paris Saint-Germain the previous night. It’s worth noting they remained undefeated throughout the Champions League tournament, only succumbing in a penalty shootout in Budapest after a 1-1 draw.
Arsenal Celebrates Premier League Success
Calafiori, who remained on the bench during the Champions League Final, played a significant role throughout the season, making 36 appearances and contributing one goal and three assists.
During the open-top bus tour of North London, the Italian international truly took center stage. He grabbed the microphone and initiated chants with the enthusiastic crowd.

This enthusiastic role is reminiscent of the ‘capo ultra’ tradition in Italy, a role Calafiori likely embraced from his time as a supporter in the Curva Sud of Roma’s Stadio Olimpico.
He also shared a selfie with the celebrating fans from the top of the bus on his Instagram Stories.
