AC Milan is reportedly set to pursue Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus for the upcoming season, having previously attempted to sign him on multiple occasions.
The Rossoneri are in clear need of a new center-forward, as evidenced by Santiago Gimenez and Niclas Fullkrug often being benched and Rafael Leao being deployed in a less-than-ideal role.
Milan directors held a significant meeting with Max Allegri to discuss their transfer strategy for the next season, which prominently features the acquisition of a new striker.
Gabriel Jesus Back on Milan’s Transfer Radar
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, a transfer expert for Sky Sport Italia, Gabriel Jesus has emerged as the latest target for Milan.
This is not the first time the Brazilian has been linked with the Rossoneri; he was also a target last summer and again in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old’s contract with Arsenal extends until June 2027. Given that he was acquired from Manchester City for €52 million in 2022, this upcoming transfer window represents Arsenal’s final opportunity to recoup a significant fee for him.
Gabriel Jesus has made 25 competitive appearances this season, contributing five goals and two assists.
Notably, two of his goals were scored in the Champions League against Milan’s fierce rivals, Inter.
He previously suffered a significant setback due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in January 2025, which resulted in an extended period of absence, nearly a full year.
