Juventus Could Reopen Contract Talks with Dusan Vlahovic Under New CEO

With Giovanni Carnevali poised to take over as Juventus’ CEO, replacing Damien Comolli, reports suggest the Bianconeri might restart contract discussions with Dusan Vlahovic.

Juventus appears to be on the verge of a new era, as Comolli is anticipated to step down today following an extraordinary board meeting.

Potential for a New Vlahovic Negotiation?

The French executive’s tenure at the Allianz Stadium lasted only one season before his expected departure, with Giovanni Carnevali set to fill the vacant position.

According to Gazzetta, the incoming CEO could revive contract talks with Vlahovic, whose current deal in Turin is set to expire at the end of June.

Comolli had previously been unsuccessful in reaching an agreement with Vlahovic, with an offer on the table of €6 million per season plus bonuses.

In his final season with Juventus, Vlahovic earned €12 million including add-ons. Should Vlahovic depart, Kenan Yildiz would become the highest earner at the Allianz Stadium next season, with a reported salary of €7 million per year.

Gazzetta also indicates that Juventus remains interested in acquiring Alexander Sorloth, Randal Kolo Muani, and Emiliano Martinez. Additionally, Tarik Muharemovic, a product of the Juventus Academy currently playing for Sassuolo, might make a return to the Allianz Stadium and reunite with Carnevali.
