Juventus Considers Selling Cambiaso to Fund Transfers Amid Interest from Como, Inter, and Barcelona

Juventus is reportedly considering a sale of versatile full-back Andrea Cambiaso as a means to generate substantial funds for their summer transfer window. The player has attracted interest from Como, Inter Milan, and Barcelona.

Despite being a regular starter for Juventus this season, appearing in 47 matches under both Igor Tudor and Luciano Spalletti, Cambiaso is not deemed indispensable by the club. While Spalletti has praised the 26-year-old’s abilities, his occasional defensive lapses, notably exposed in the Turin derby, have raised doubts about his suitability for a team aiming for continuous growth and improvement.

Como emerges as the most serious contender for Cambiaso’s signature. The club, managed by Cesc Fabregas, is in need of Italian-qualified players to comply with UEFA Champions League squad regulations, and Cambiaso’s technical profile is considered a strong fit for their playing style.

Inter Milan’s interest is viewed more as a potential opportunistic maneuver. The club might see Cambiaso as a valuable piece in negotiations involving Davide Frattesi, having reportedly explored a swap deal for the midfielder earlier in the summer.

Barcelona has made preliminary inquiries regarding Cambiaso but is not currently perceived to be pursuing the move with significant urgency.

The potential departure of Cambiaso, coupled with Juan Cabal, would necessitate a significant restructuring of Juventus’s entire left flank, a rebuilding process that would require substantial financial investment in return.
