Ferrari Lacks Power for Pole, Depressing Qualifying Not Fitting for F1

The third race weekend of the season in Suzuka has further clarified the performance hierarchy in Formula 1. During the Japanese qualifying session, Ferrari once again demonstrated a half-second deficit compared to Mercedes on a single lap. Compounding their struggles, the Maranello team was overtaken by McLaren, relegating them to the third-fastest force on the grid. For another race, the front row was entirely secured by Mercedes cars.
