Calafiori’s Three-Word Message as Arsenal Reach Champions League Final

Italy international Riccardo Calafiori has expressed his elation after Arsenal’s qualification for the Champions League Final. The former Bologna and Roma defender took to social media to share his feelings, writing: “What a dream.”

Calafiori was part of the Arsenal squad that triumphed over Atletico Madrid with a 1-0 victory in the second-leg semifinal on Tuesday. He started the match and was substituted after 58 minutes, making way for Piero Hincapié.

Reacting to Arsenal’s significant achievement on Instagram, Calafiori posted a photo from the previous night with the simple yet powerful caption: “What a dream.”

This season, the Italian defender has contributed one goal and three assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. Speaking to Sky Sport, Calafiori described the accomplishment as “something huge,” noting it had been approximately 20 years since the club last reached this stage. He emphasized that they “deserved it” and are now focused on competing for both the league title and the Champions League, having “full energy.”

Arsenal are currently leading the Premier League standings. With only four games remaining in the season, a strong finish could see them achieve a historic double.

Calafiori admitted that the prospect of reaching this level has been on his mind since the beginning of the season. He concluded by saying, “It’s like a dream now, and I hope it becomes true.”
