Vlahovic Open to Short-Term Juventus Deal Amidst Transfer Interest

Dusan Vlahovic appears amenable to extending his contract with Juventus for an additional two years, despite significant interest from clubs like AC Milan and Bayern Munich. Negotiations for a new deal are anticipated to resume shortly, as his current contract with Juventus is set to expire in June 2026.

The Serbian striker has faced injury challenges this season, including a significant layoff following surgery in December 2025. However, according to reports, Vlahovic is increasingly leaning towards remaining in Turin. This decision would allow him to start the upcoming season in a familiar environment where he has fostered strong relationships with his coach and teammates.

While AC Milan has been linked with the player, it is suggested that Vlahovic is reluctant to join another Serie A club out of loyalty to Juventus. Bayern Munich remains a contender, although discussions with Vlahovic’s representatives have not yet reached an advanced stage. The German club could potentially offer a higher salary, but Vlahovic might prioritize the stability of staying in Turin to reignite his career after a challenging season.

Juventus is reportedly considering a new two-year contract for Vlahovic, with a salary package estimated at €6-7 million per year, including performance-related bonuses. Vlahovic currently earns €12 million, including bonuses, in the final year of his existing contract.

Vlahovic’s Juventus Contract Extension – Latest Updates

Juventus and Vlahovic are expected to resume contract discussions in the upcoming weeks regarding an extension for the striker, whose current deal at the Allianz Stadium concludes in June 2026.

The Serbian international has been hampered by injuries this season, missing four months of action after undergoing surgery in December 2025.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahovic is increasingly inclined to extend his stay at Juventus, which would provide him with the opportunity to commence the new season in a familiar setting, where he has established a strong rapport with the coach and his teammates.

Reports in Italy have indicated AC Milan’s interest in the Bianconeri star, but Gazzetta suggests that Vlahovic is unwilling to join another Serie A club, so as not to betray Juventus.

Bayern Munich remains in contention, even though talks with Vlahovic’s entourage have not yet progressed significantly.

The Bavarians would likely have no issue offering a higher salary than Juventus, but Vlahovic might prefer the stability of remaining in Turin to revive his career after a difficult season.

According to Gazzetta, Juventus may propose a new two-year deal with an annual salary of €6-7 million, including add-ons.

Vlahovic is currently earning €12 million, including bonuses, in the final year of his contract at the Allianz Stadium.
