Milan Pursues Sorloth Amidst High Demands from Vlahovic and Lewandowski

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sorloth has emerged as the latest striker of interest to AC Milan for the upcoming summer transfer window. The Rossoneri have reportedly found the salary expectations of Dusan Vlahovic and Robert Lewandowski to be prohibitively high.

Milan is in the market for a new centre-forward for the 2026-27 season, and various strikers have been linked with a move to San Siro in recent months. Sorloth, the 30-year-old Atletico Madrid attacker, has caught their attention, having netted 17 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions this season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that Atletico Madrid’s valuation for Sorloth stands at approximately €40 million, including add-ons. However, this price could potentially decrease to around €25 million if the experienced striker does not perform impressively in the remaining games of the season and during the World Cup.

The publication also confirms that Milan’s management has held discussions with Robert Lewandowski’s agent. Nevertheless, the Polish international’s salary demands are considered too steep for the Rossoneri.

Similarly, Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is also in a situation where his wage demands are a sticking point, although the gap between his request and Milan’s potential offer is reportedly less significant than in Lewandowski’s case. Both Vlahovic and Lewandowski are set to become free agents as their contracts expire in June.

Further reports from Gazzetta suggest that Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson and Club Brugge’s Nicolò Tresoldi, a German U21 international, are also on AC Milan’s list of potential transfer targets.
