AC Milan supporters are expressing their dissatisfaction with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s increased influence following the recent dismissal of the coach and directorial staff. Chants of “Get Ibra out now too” are being heard from the ultras.
The past 24 hours have been tumultuous for the Rossoneri. Their hopes for a Champions League spot were severely damaged by an unexpected 2-1 home loss to Cagliari. Even a draw would have secured a better head-to-head record against Como and allowed them to claim fourth place.
Ibrahimovic’s Role at Milan Expanded

RedBird owner Gerry Cardinale made a swift and decisive move, terminating coach Max Allegri, sporting director Igli Tare, CEO Giorgio Furlani, and technical director Geoffrey Moncada in a single, abrupt statement. However, special advisor Ibrahimovic remains in his position and has reportedly been granted even greater authority. He was seen arriving at the hotel where Cardinale is staying for further crisis discussions.
While AC Milan ultras had previously voiced concerns about Furlani, they were largely supportive of retaining Allegri and Tare until the team’s recent collapse. This sentiment has shifted following the defeat, leading to the display of a new banner outside the Casa Milan headquarters.
The banner reads: “Nobody must remain: Get Ibra out now too.”

Given that Cardinale has already removed the entire directorial and coaching staff, it appears unlikely that the former player and current special advisor will also be dismissed.
