Bobby Jones Links (BJL), a rapidly expanding leader in club management and development, is excited to announce its partnership in managing the semi-private Live Oaks Golf Club, located in Jackson, Mississippi.
Nestled in a serene, pastoral area northwest of Jackson, Live Oaks spans 130 picturesque acres. Established in 1969 and designed by John F. Stahl, the club features an 18-hole, par-72 course that extends just under 6,600 yards. The gently rolling fairways meander through a parkland landscape, presenting strategic challenges with uneven lies, angled shots under the oak canopy, and demanding, undulating Bermuda greens.
Live Oaks has evolved into a comprehensive destination, boasting Roosevelt’s restaurant and bar, the elegant Reed House event venue, and the new Bunk House accommodating up to 60 guests. This allows visitors to play, dine, celebrate, and stay all on-site.
BJL’s expertise is evident in planned improvements, including a new irrigation system, enhanced agronomic standards, advanced service training, an upgraded dining experience at Roosevelt’s, and the addition of group lodging. These initiatives signal an exciting new phase for Live Oaks.

Over the years, Live Oaks has become a central gathering spot, supported by its clubhouse, featuring Roosevelt’s bar and lounge, and complemented by a pool and family-friendly areas that foster a strong sense of community.
The Reed House, a premier wedding and event venue set among majestic oaks, offers a 10,000-square-foot hall with an open-air pavilion and scenic ceremony spaces. Designed for both beauty and functionality, it connects via elegant pathways and can host intimate gatherings to large celebrations, complete with bar service and staging.
The Bunk House retreat provides accommodation for large groups, golf outings, wedding parties, and corporate events, transforming the property into a fully self-contained destination.
