Juventus Hopes Brahim Diaz Becomes Available If Real Madrid Recall Nico Paz

A potential transfer chain reaction is on the horizon, with Juventus expressing a keen interest in signing Brahim Diaz. This move is particularly dependent on Real Madrid’s decision to recall Nico Paz from his loan spell at Como.

The future of Nico Paz is a significant factor in this scenario. Paz has been making a strong impression at Como, having progressed through Real Madrid’s youth academy. He was transferred to Como for €6 million in the summer of 2024, but Real Madrid retained buy-back options for amounts ranging from €9 million to €11 million, valid until June 2027.

It remains uncertain whether Real Madrid will opt to bring Nico Paz back to the Bernabeu. Reports suggest that Jose Mourinho is keen to have the young Argentine international available for the upcoming season.

Juventus is privately anticipating this outcome. If Real Madrid recalls Paz, it is believed to increase the likelihood of them releasing Brahim Diaz, who is a primary transfer target for the Turin club.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has identified Brahim Diaz as the ideal player to inject more creativity, bridging the gap between midfield and attack in Turin.

Diaz, an international from Morocco who will turn 27 in August, is familiar with Serie A, having previously played for AC Milan on loan from 2020 to 2023.

This past season, he made 42 appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions, contributing two goals and nine assists. His contract is set to expire in June 2027, making this summer the last opportunity for Real Madrid to secure a transfer fee for him before he could potentially leave as a free agent.
