Heritage Golf Group has announced its acquisition of The Palisades Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, from Timberlake Golf Club, LLC. This strategic move signifies Heritage’s debut in the Charlotte market and broadens its operational footprint across the Carolinas, extending beyond its established cluster of clubs near Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and Hilton Head Island.

Nestled within the 1,600-acre master-planned Palisades community just outside Charlotte, North Carolina, The Palisades Country Club features a golf course that harmonizes with the natural topography alongside Lake Wylie. Designed to challenge and accommodate golfers of all proficiency levels, the course is complemented by extensive practice facilities and a specialized short game area.
In addition to its golf offerings, the club provides members access to a comprehensive array of sports and wellness amenities through its Signature Sports Complex. This facility includes courts for tennis and pickleball, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a resort-style aquatic center complete with a zero-entry pool, lap lanes, water slides, and family-friendly water attractions.
Preliminary plans for capital improvements are currently under review, with member and team input being central to ensuring that future enhancements align with the club’s specific priorities. Initial investments will be directed towards enhancing the golf course and elevating the amenities that contribute to the overall member experience.
This acquisition represents Heritage’s 48th property acquired in the past six years under its current ownership, underscoring the company’s sustained growth and strategic expansion into new markets.
