Milan Boss Amorim Wants to Assess Musah Amidst Leeds Interest

The future of Yunus Musah at AC Milan has become a subtle point of contention, with Leeds United showing interest in the midfielder, while new Milan manager Ruben Amorim is hesitant to let him depart just yet.

According to insights shared by Carlo Pellegatti on his YouTube channel, as reported by MilanNews.it, the Premier League club is actively pursuing the United States international. However, the new Milan coach desires a closer inspection of Musah's capabilities before committing to any transfer decisions.

“Leeds are interested in Musah, but Musah is a player Ruben Amorim is observing closely and hopes to find a role for,” Pellegatti stated. “He is a player who might possess interesting qualities that Milan perhaps haven't managed to fully bring out.”

Pellegatti Questions Musah's Impact at Milan

The pundit was candid about the midfielder's limited contributions thus far. “The fact that he played sparingly at Milan, and then also at Atalanta, certainly leads us to believe we must hope that Amorim can see something in him,” Pellegatti added. “Because up to this point, he has shown very little, appearing as an entirely ordinary player.”

This assessment highlights the critical juncture Musah is at. Initially signed with considerable expectations, he has struggled to cement his place at San Siro and made little impact during his loan spell, leaving his standing under the new coaching regime uncertain.

Amorim's inclination to assess him offers a glimmer of hope. However, with Leeds prepared to offer consistent first-team football, the outcome may heavily depend on whether the Portuguese coach can unlock the potential of a player who has, to date, proven frustratingly difficult to integrate effectively.
