According to recent reports, Fiorentina has made substantial advancements in discussions with Juventus regarding Joao Mario. The player is not expected to be a part of Luciano Spalletti's plans for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign. Earlier reports suggested a season-long loan agreement with an option to buy, valued between €8 million and €9 million.
Joao Mario joined Juventus last summer from Porto for €12.6 million. He made 10 Serie A appearances for the Turin club before being loaned to Bologna for the remainder of the 2025-26 season, a move that saw Emil Holm join Juventus on a temporary basis in exchange.
