Italy Unveils New 2026 Away Kit
The Italian national football team has officially revealed its new away kit, slated for use in forthcoming international matches.
While Gennaro Gattuso is anticipated to announce Italy's World Cup play-off squad today, the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) preemptively revealed the Nazionale's new away kit this morning.
Official Statement on Italy's New 2026 Away Kit
An official statement confirmed that "adidas and the FIGC today unveiled the Italian national football team's official Away Kit, designed for their upcoming international fixtures."
The jersey draws heavily from traditional Italian tailoring, taking inspiration from the sophisticated suits famously worn by the national team during historical celebratory occasions.
The away jersey showcases an all-over blue and white pattern, reflecting the detailed textures found in haute couture. Navy blue and gold accents adorn the sleeves, logos, and numbering, while the collar features an 'Italia' monogram, reminiscent of custom embroidery, symbolizing a profound sense of identity and unity.

Crafted from jacquard fabric, the jersey offers a lightweight feel and enhanced freedom of movement on the pitch. The design is completed with adidas' signature three stripes along the shoulders, featuring a herringbone pattern, engineered to boost breathability and guarantee optimal airflow even in extreme conditions.
The full adidas Away jersey collection is engineered for peak performance, designed to support elite players during high-pressure moments. To withstand the most arduous and warmest environments, the jerseys feature advanced 3D body-mapped mechanical stretch fabrics, integrating adidas’ cutting-edge CLIMACOOL+ technology that swiftly wicks moisture away, keeping players drier for extended periods.
Italy's next fixture is scheduled for March 26 in Bergamo against Northern Ireland, a World Cup play-off semifinal. Should the Azzurri advance to the final, they will face either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina away from home.
Should Italy secure qualification for the World Cup, they would be placed in Group B, alongside Canada, Qatar, and Switzerland.
