Italy Ticket Allocation for World Cup Play-off Final Revealed
Italy's national football team will be supported by a significantly limited number of fans for their crucial World Cup play-off final against Bosnia and Herzegovina. A mere 500 tickets have been designated for Italian supporters attending the decisive match, scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica.
As reported by Sky Sport Italia, this restricted allocation means only a small fraction of Italy's passionate fanbase will be able to witness the qualifier in person. The home side for this play-off final was determined by a draw conducted in December.
The Bilino Polje Stadium, which typically accommodates 15,600 spectators, will operate with a reduced capacity of 13,500 for the final. FIFA mandated this reduction of 2,100 seats following incidents that occurred during Bosnia’s previous home game against Romania in November 2025.
Demand for tickets among local fans has been exceptionally high. The Bosnian Football Federation confirmed that all available tickets for the home support were completely sold out within hours of their semi-final victory against Wales, which they secured through a penalty shootout on Thursday. On the same day, Italy earned their place in the final by defeating Northern Ireland 2-0 in Bergamo, with goals contributed by Sandro Tonali and Moise Kean.
