Roma has secured their new right-back. Multiple reports confirm a complete agreement has been reached with Atletico Madrid for Nahuel Molina. The transfer is valued at €18 million, with the player set to earn €2.7 million per season.

The Argentina international is scheduled to arrive within the next 24 hours for his medical examinations. Upon completion, he will join his new teammates at their pre-season training camp in Wales.

The precise financial details of the agreement are reported as €13 million upfront, with an additional €4 million in add-ons, though some sources indicate the total package could reach €18 million. Given that Molina's current contract with Atletico Madrid extends until June 2027, the acquisition cost for the World Cup finalist is considered relatively low.

This move marks a return to Serie A for Molina, who previously played for Udinese from 2020 to 2022 before his €20 million transfer to Atletico Madrid. Reports suggest that Molina's long-term contract with Roma will be worth €2.7 million annually, with personal terms fully agreed upon.

Earlier, Roma's primary target had been Givairo Read. However, Feyenoord rejected their €28 million offer, and Roma was unwilling to increase their bid for the 20-year-old player.
