Atalanta vs. Lazio Coppa Italia Semi-Final Lineups

The Coppa Italia semi-final second leg between Atalanta and Lazio is set to kick off, with both teams announcing their starting lineups. Atalanta will feature Nikola Krstović and Charles De Ketelaere up front, while Lazio looks to Mattia Zaccagni and Tijjani Noslin for attacking impetus.

The match, scheduled for 20:00 UK time (21:00 CEST) at the Gewiss Stadium, follows a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Rome. With no away goals rule in effect, any draw after 90 minutes will lead to extra time and potentially penalties. The winner will advance to face Inter Milan in the final on May 13th.

Atalanta views this competition as a prime opportunity for European qualification, even with their standing in Serie A also offering a path. Despite some players not being at 100%, Giorgio Scalvini, Sead Kolasinac, and Charles De Ketelaere have been cleared to start. Nikola Zalewski and Krstović will form the attacking trident, with Marco Carnesecchi in goal, as Gianluca Scamacca is still recovering from injury.

Lazio, on the other hand, has a lengthy list of absentees, including Nicolò Rovella, Ivan Provedel, and Alessio Furlanetto. However, Adam Marušić is available again. Noslin is selected as the central forward, supported by Zaccagni and Matteo Cancellieri. Daniel Maldini is on the bench against his parent club, having joined from Atalanta on loan. Patric is in midfield, indicating Danilo Cataldi is not fully fit.

Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio side comes into this match following an impressive 2-0 Serie A victory over Napoli. They had held a two-goal lead twice in the first leg of this semi-final but conceded late equalizers on both occasions.

Lazio: Motta; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Nuno Tavares; Basic, Patric, Taylor; Cancellieri, Noslin, Zaccagni
