AC Milan is reportedly devising an innovative plan to secure the signing of Moise Kean from Fiorentina this summer. The club is exploring the possibility of including Santiago Gimenez in a package deal to lower the financial burden of a transfer that would otherwise be too costly.
Massimiliano Allegri has long admired Kean, having previously worked with the Italian international at Juventus. Allegri views Kean as the ideal candidate to bolster AC Milan’s attack for the 2026/27 season. The interest appears to be mutual, as Kean has been linked with a move to San Siro in the past. With Fiorentina’s European aspirations seemingly in jeopardy, especially after their expected exit from the Conference League, Kean’s departure from Florence appears increasingly probable.

The primary challenge, as is often the case, is financial. Kean’s release clause is set at €52 million, a sum AC Milan is reluctant to pay outright, particularly after a season where the striker’s market value has not significantly increased.
