Vlahovic Nets Third-Fastest Serie A Goal of Last Two Decades for Juventus vs. Lecce

Dusan Vlahovic has put Juventus ahead against Lecce with a remarkable early goal, scoring in just 12 seconds. This strike is the quickest Serie A goal in Juventus’s history since record-keeping began in the 2004/05 season.

From the opening whistle, Juventus immediately pushed forward. Andrea Cambiaso received the ball on the right flank and delivered a precise cross into the penalty area. Vlahovic controlled the ball, feinted to deceive Tiago Gabriel, and then unleashed a powerful shot that rocketed under the crossbar, past goalkeeper Falcone.

According to OptaPaolo on X, only Rafael Leão (6 seconds) and Hirving Lozano (9 seconds) have scored faster goals in Serie A over the past two decades.

Vlahovic’s goal surpasses the previous club record set by Arturo Vidal against Inter in November 2012. This was Cambiaso’s fifth assist of the current season.
