Valero Texas Open 2025: Viewing Guide

The Valero Texas Open will be held at The Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio for the 15th consecutive year. This PGA Tour event concludes the Texas swing. Following Min Woo Lee`s victory at the Texas Children`s Houston Open, a field of 156 players will compete in San Antonio for a final chance to qualify for the Masters. Only the winner, if not already qualified, will secure a spot in the first major of the year.

Last year, Akshay Bhatia won in a playoff against Denny McCarthy in San Antonio. Both players are returning this year. Bhatia will be competing for the first time since his third-place tie at the Players Championship on March 17. McCarthy is aiming for a win after achieving five top-20 finishes this season. Corey Conners is a two-time Valero Texas Open champion, winning in 2019 and 2023. A total of $9.5 million in prize money is at stake, with the winner receiving $1,710,000.
