World No. 1 Jannik Sinner of Italy shared his expectations for the upcoming Wimbledon final, where he will face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
The rivals previously met in the French Open final in 2025. Alcaraz won that match in five sets, despite losing the first two sets.
“What to expect in the final? I don`t know,” Sinner stated. “As you saw in the last final, you never know what`s going to happen. But it`s a great honor for me to be on court with Carlos again.”
“We try to push each other to the limit. He is one of the players I look up to. I like watching him play. I think everyone agrees that he is a real talent. I hope we will have a good match, like the last one, maybe even better. We will try to show our maximum,” Sinner added in an on-court interview.
