The city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, is scheduled to debut a new WTA 250 tournament in September 2025. The organization of this event will be managed by IMM, the company renowned for annually organizing the ATP 500 tournament held in Rio de Janeiro.
This new competition, officially named the SP Open, is planned to take place from September 8th to September 14th and will be contested on hard court surfaces.
