Russian Tennis Player Mokrov Temporarily Suspended for Doping

Alexey Mokrov, currently ranked World No. 1413, has been provisionally suspended from competitive tennis due to a violation of anti-doping regulations.

Metabolites of nandrolone were detected in a sample provided by the player on November 26, 2024, during a $15k tournament held in Sharm El Sheikh. His temporary suspension came into effect on January 27, 2025.

The 20-year-old Russian player has the right to appeal this decision but has not exercised this option as of now.
