Polish Media Reports Details of Stalker Harassing Iga Swiatek

Information has emerged regarding a person who was persistently bothering world No. 2 tennis player, Iga Swiatek, with intrusive questions during her training session in Miami, USA, where she is participating in the WTA 1000 tournament.

According to L`Equipe, citing Polish sources, the alleged perpetrator is a 40-year-old Polish citizen residing in Florida. He is described as a `rude and impolite individual, consumed by a manic animosity towards the second-ranked player in the world`.

It is reported that during the incident, the stalker urged the tennis player to contact her mother and also made offensive remarks about Iga`s psychologist.

Earlier reports indicated that this same man had been systematically subjecting Swiatek to verbal attacks on the social media platform X from the account DzonnyBravo, which is currently blocked or deleted.

Due to the harassment, tournament organizers have provided Swiatek with additional security.
