World No. 11 Paula Badosa has withdrawn from the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami due to back issues.
In the fourth round, the Spanish player was supposed to compete against Alexandra Eala. The Filipina tennis player has advanced to the quarterfinals without playing a match. She will now face either Iga Swiatek or Elina Svitolina.
It is worth noting that in the earlier stages of the tournament, Badosa defeated Victoria Mboko and Clara Tauson.
