Paolini Attributes Rome Title to Maintaining Focus Against Gauff

World No. 5, Italy`s Jasmine Paolini, reflected on her triumph at the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome. In the final showdown, she defeated American Coco Gauff with a score of 6-4, 6-2.

Paolini revealed that remaining fully concentrated on the match was crucial for her success.

“I focused on the match,” Paolini explained. “I kept telling myself that whatever was happening didn`t matter at all; I simply had to play every single point. And that`s precisely what I did throughout the entire match. I truly believe it was my best performance of the tournament.”

This victory marks Paolini`s third career title and her first of the current season.
