Novak Djokovic: “Olympic Gold Was Like a Movie,” Responds to Retirement Question

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, has once again stated that winning gold at the 2024 Olympics is the most important achievement of his career.

“This is the biggest success in my career. It was for my country, at the Olympic Games, which are held only once every four years… And the whole story associated with the Games, which I experienced, with three semi-finals where I was unlucky. At 37, in Paris, in front of my wife and children… It was like a movie. I have never had such feelings on a tennis court.”

In addition, Djokovic gave a sharp answer to a question about the end of his career.

“I don`t know how much time I have left. Do you know it yourself? I have no idea either,” Djokovic said, according to AS, from the red carpet of the 25th Laureus World Sports Awards.

It is noted that after this question, Djokovic hurried away from the area where media representatives were standing.
