24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has cautiously spoken about the upcoming Masters tournament in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Serbian tennis star hopes to improve his performance throughout the tournament.
“I am trying to make the most of these days, of preparation and training, and I hope that I will be able to play more than one match.”
“I am taking it day by day. I am one of those players who gets better over time, and as I play more tournaments on this surface, which is quite demanding and different from others,” Djokovic said at a press conference.
In his opening match at Monte Carlo, Djokovic will face the winner of the match between Alejandro Tabilo (Chile) and Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland).
