Natalia Bryant, the oldest daughter of the late basketball icon Kobe Bryant, recently celebrated her graduation from the University of Southern California, adding a touching personal tribute to her academic achievement.
Her graduation sash featured her beloved father`s distinctive Nike sheath logo, strategically placed near her heart, a heartfelt symbol of remembrance and connection.
Natalia earned her degree from USC`s prestigious School of Cinematic Arts. Congratulations on her milestone poured in from various notable figures, including USC women`s basketball standout JuJu Watkins, WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu, and acclaimed actor Michael B. Jordan.
The iconic Nike sheath logo, first introduced in 2005, remains a strong visual staple associated with Kobe Bryant`s signature Nike footwear and extensive merchandise line.
Looking ahead, Kobe`s legacy will also be prominently featured at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. A special emblem variation, designed by his widow, Vanessa Bryant, draws inspiration from Kobe`s personal logo and embodies the spirit of his “Black Mamba” mindset.
Commenting on the design, Vanessa Bryant shared, “We created this emblem in his memory… We hope it instills the `Mamba mentality` in future Olympians and Paralympians. We are very proud that this emblem will represent the Los Angeles Games. I know Kobe would have been delighted to host the Games in this wonderful city.”
Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven other individuals tragically lost their lives in a helicopter accident in January 2020.
