Former world number one Naomi Osaka shared her feelings after winning the WTA 125 tournament in Saint-Malo, France. In the final, the Japanese star defeated Kaia Juvan with a score of 6/1, 7/5.
“It`s funny that my first trophy since coming back came on clay, a surface I used to consider my weakest,” Osaka posted on social media. “But that`s one of the things I love about life: there`s always a chance to grow and change.”
“Thank you to everyone who has been with me on this journey. It`s been bumpy at times, but incredibly exciting, and I`m really grateful for it,” she added.
