Former world No. 3 Nadia Petrova shared her opinion on which Russian female tennis players are best suited for playing on the grass courts of Wimbledon in 2025.
According to her, the grass surface “suits Alexandrova well.” Petrova added that Kalinskaya could also feel good on grass, “something she hasn`t even realized herself yet, in my opinion,” despite recent health issues. Experienced Pavlyuchenkova is also a suitable candidate. Petrova emphasized that a Grand Slam always provides an opportunity for any player to prove themselves, earn ranking points, and improve their position.
It`s noted that the best achievement for Ekaterina Alexandrova and Anna Kalinskaya at Wimbledon is reaching the fourth round. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova achieved her best result in 2016 when she reached the quarterfinals of the London tournament.
