Olympic silver medalists Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider have opened up about their relationship off the court.
When asked if they had become friends in the eight months since the Paris Olympics, and whether it`s possible to form friendships on tour, Andreeva responded:
“I would say yes. We are both quite open, but we certainly wouldn`t share anything deeply personal with just anyone. However, I feel I can with Diana now. Yes, I`ve already shared a lot!”
Shnaider added her perspective: “I completely agree. It’s always challenging at the beginning, especially since we had such an abrupt start – with the Olympics and all that pressure. But as we started spending more time together, we realized we have a lot in common. We have similar views on things, and our sense of humor is alike. So, it`s easy to communicate with her.”
