World No. 6 Mirra Andreeva continued her strong performance at the Miami Open, defeating Veronika Kudermetova in the second round with a dominant 6-0, 6-2 victory. This win marked her 30th career victory in WTA 1000 tournaments.

The 17-year-old Russian prodigy has reached this milestone in just 40 matches played at this level. Since 2009, only three other players have achieved 30 wins at WTA 1000 events in fewer matches.

The top 7 players with the fastest accumulation of 30 WTA 1000 wins are:

  • 1. Bianca Andreescu – 38 matches
  • 2-3. Maria Sharapova – 39 matches
  • 2-3. Venus Williams – 39 matches
  • 4-7. Mirra Andreeva – 40 matches
  • 4-7. Iga Swiatek – 40 matches
  • 4-7. Serena Williams – 40 matches
  • 4-7. Jelena Jankovic – 40 matches

Furthermore, Andreeva has now won a set 6-0 for the third time in her WTA 1000 career. Since 2009, only three WTA Tour players have recorded more bagel sets at this level before turning 19: Coco Gauff (8), Caroline Wozniacki and Donna Vekic (4 each).
