Rafael Leao has successfully rejoined full training with AC Milan and is now declared available for selection ahead of Monday’s pivotal Serie A encounter against Napoli at the Maradona Stadium.
The Portuguese winger had been managing a pubic inflammation but participated without restriction in Friday’s full group training session alongside his teammates. This timely return offers a significant boost to coach Massimiliano Allegri as Milan prepares for one of its most important fixtures of the current season.
With Matteo Gabbia being the sole absentee from training, the remainder of the squad is reported to be fully fit and ready for the journey to Naples.

Leao’s Fitness Doesn’t Guarantee Starting Role
Despite his return to full fitness, Leao’s place in the starting lineup is not guaranteed. Coach Allegri is reportedly weighing up a significant selection decision between the Portuguese forward and Christopher Nkunku for a spot in the first XI.
The Frenchman has consistently impressed with his performances when given the opportunity recently and is strongly pushing for the starting nod.
With Milan currently six points adrift of Inter and time running out in the title race, Monday’s clash pitting the second and third-placed teams against each other at the Maradona is an absolute must-win. A victory is essential for Allegri’s side to maintain any realistic hope of overcoming their Nerazzurri rivals.
