Mexico City Grand Prix Contract Extended Until 2028

The Mexico City Grand Prix is set to remain a fixture on the Formula 1 calendar until at least 2028, following the confirmation of a three-year extension to its current agreement.

The popular race, which returned to the F1 schedule in 2015, boasts a list of recent winners including current drivers Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, and Max Verstappen.

The date for the 2025 edition of the Mexico City Grand Prix has been announced as October 24-26.

Formula 1 President Stefano Domenicali expressed his satisfaction with the continued partnership:

We are very excited to announce that the Mexico City Grand Prix will continue to be part of our calendar until 2028.

Formula 1 is energy, passion and emotion, and every year the unique atmosphere created by our fans in Mexico City is one of the most incredible and energetic experiences of our championship.

We look forward to continuing this extraordinary collaboration together and seeing the incredible enthusiasm of the Mexican fans again in October.

Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 President

This extension ensures that the vibrant atmosphere and challenging circuit of Mexico City will continue to host Formula 1 races for the coming years.
