2013 Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli shared her expectations for the upcoming match between Amanda Anisimova and Iga Swiatek.

“If Anisimova can show the level she`s displayed throughout the tournament and successfully impose her style of play, she can win. If she plays her own game, she is certainly capable of winning. She is extremely dangerous on this surface, where the ball picks up speed after flat shots,” Bartoli commented.

“She plays faster, hits and serves more powerfully. But she needs to maintain control of the game. She has a strong backhand, but this is the main weapon for both players. So, we are in for a duel of strengths – and who will come out on top? That will be very interesting.”

“In my opinion, this will be one of the key aspects of the match. At some point, they will inevitably start a diagonal cross-court backhand exchange. Who will be able to hit down the line, or continue hitting cross-courts and wait for the opponent`s error? I am very interested in this tactical pattern,” Bartoli wrote for L`Equipe.
