According to reports emerging from France, Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao is being considered by Liverpool as one of the potential candidates to replace Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian superstar has announced his intention to leave the club at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Liverpool confirmed earlier this week that an agreement is in place with Salah, allowing him to depart after an illustrious nine-season career. During his time at Anfield, Salah achieved significant success, securing two Premier League titles, participating in three Champions League finals, and winning the FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.
Speculation regarding a successor for the iconic winger has already intensified, with French media outlets highlighting Juventus’s Conceicao as a prominent name on Liverpool’s emerging shortlist.

While other high-profile talents such as Michael Olise, Bradley Barcola, and Yan Diomande are also reportedly on the reigning Premier League champions’ radar, Conceicao is specifically mentioned as a strong potential target in these French dispatches.
Conceicao is currently under contract with Juventus until the summer of 2030. He initially joined the Bianconeri on a loan deal for the 2024-25 season, which included a fee of €7 million plus bonuses. Although the initial agreement did not technically contain a buy option, Juventus successfully made his transfer permanent for a reported fee of €30.4 million in the summer of 2025.
Since then, the Portugal international has contributed three goals and three assists in 22 Serie A appearances this campaign, showcasing his form and potential.
