Lando Norris: Ryder Cup Spirit Fuels F1 Title Bid

Lando Norris emphasized the importance of perseverance in sports, citing the unexpected final-day comeback of the US Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black as he looks to reignite his Formula 1 championship aspirations.

Following a poor performance during the initial two days of their home tournament in New York, Keegan Bradley`s team staged a remarkable recovery, matching the highest points tally in the Sunday singles session, though ultimately falling short with a 15-13 defeat to Team Europe for the trophy.

In Formula 1, Norris is striving for his own comeback, aiming to close the gap on his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri. Piastri`s lead has been reduced to 25 points after Norris secured more points in the last two races.

In an exclusive interview with David Croft, scheduled to be broadcast during the Singapore GP weekend, avid golfer Norris confessed that he spent his recent F1 break “binge-watching the entire Ryder Cup daily!”

Reflecting on potential lessons from Team USA`s Sunday turnaround, Norris stated:

You can never count yourself out. The Ryder Cup last weekend truly exemplified that you shouldn`t give up until the very end.
