Former world No. 1 Justine Henin has shared her perspective on Carlos Alcaraz`s prospects for defending his title at Roland Garros.
Henin regards the young Spaniard as the principal favorite for the upcoming tournament.
Commenting on his journey, Henin stated, “He is the main favorite. He impressed, although he was at rock bottom after the March American series.” She observed a positive shift in his demeanor: “We saw him smiling with his team in Rome, whereas in Monte-Carlo he was still returning to a higher level and experiencing difficulties.”
