World No. 109 Juan Manuel Cerundolo shared his insights after his impressive victory against Casper Ruud in the Gstaad Open quarterfinals, securing a win with a score of 6/2, 1/6, 6/3.
“It was a really tough match. From the second set onwards, he started playing much more aggressively and took a significant lead. However, I managed to maintain my mental resilience and didn`t let the match slip away. In the decisive third set, when I was down 0/3, I managed to break back, which restored my confidence. At that point, I began to play more decisively and aggressively. I believe this tactical shift was crucial for my comeback in the final set.”
