Former world No. 9 John Isner has offered his assessment of Novak Djokovic`s prospects at Grand Slam tournaments.
“I hope I’m wrong, but it appears Novak Djokovic probably has only two realistic chances left to win a Grand Slam tournament – Wimbledon and the US Open. He is aging, and despite taking excellent care of his body, there`s a feeling that the main question mark in his career is his level of play.”
“If he can serve as he did in Miami, he will definitely have a good chance to win Wimbledon. In one match in Miami, he achieved an 83% first serve percentage. If he can maintain his first serve percentage above 65%, he is absolutely capable of winning Wimbledon this year,” Isner stated in the Nothing Major podcast.
